Hisaab Barabar is a story about a common man’s fight to expose a corporate bank’s billion-dollar scam. Radhe Mohan Sharma is a ticket checker with the Indian Railways who also moonlights as a human calculator for his friends and colleagues. He helps them settle their balance sheets. He helps them keep a tab of their life’s earnings. He is also a master haggler—no fruit seller can fool Radhe into paying a penny more than a fruit’s worth. This is how Radhe keeps everything well and balanced in his life. He is a divorcee who lives with his son and he takes great pain in making sure that every moving expense in his life is up to the right “hisaab.”
